Re: 2004 Texas Energy Partnership Workshop held September 8, 2004

The Texas Energy Partnership Workshop was held September 8, 2004 as scheduled in Arlington . The presentations included a variety of useful information for energy conservation and reduction. Most importantly, Glenn Jennings of the State Energy Conservation Office has indicated that many of the presentations are available at the Texas Energy Partnership website. I heartily recommend that you use the resources available from this website. Following is an excerpt from Glenn Jennings' email:

We will be posting many of the presentations on our web site. If you have any questions regarding the presentations, available resources, and data reporting please contact Glenn Jennings or Mike Myers for assistance. Our contact information is listed below. During the next year we plan to offer workshops that will focus on one specific topic such as utility accounting, data collection and documentation, or on specific technology applications. The workshops will offered & customized based on a specific need and/or requests from local jurisdictions. If you have a specific request or an interest to sponsor/host a workshop please contact us.

At the meeting we focused on utility accounting, benchmarking and data reporting, it is our goal to assist you in submitting future reports that will provide your community the potential to obtain emission credits.

Please actively use the www.texasenergypartnership web site for available resources and tools from the State Energy Conservation Office, US Department of Energy's Rebuild America Program, and Energy Star, a joint program of the US Environmental Protections Agency and US DOE, as well as other state and federal agencies, organizations and business partners.   Also check the web site for future events and updated case studies.

Thank you,

Glenn Jennings
